Kingston’s Inner Harbour Play Street launched January 16th, 2023 and runs weekly from 3:30 – 5:30pm on Mondays. The Play Street takes place on Thomas Street and is operated by BGC South East, formerly the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston, with support from the Kingston Coalition for Active Transportation.
Located just north of Kingston’s downtown core, Thomas Street and the surrounding area is home to many young families. This densely populated neighbourhood is bordered by several neighbourhood main streets, offering limited public green spaces within walking distance for children.
